City Drainage Solution Sketch
Problem Statement
The drainage systems in Brookline get blocked by leaves easily and puddles of water form because of an inefficient grill that is below road level, causing walkers discomfort as they walk on the streets with high levels of water in high traffic areas.
Solution
A viable solution is to elevate the grill and have sloped sides. These sides will help trap the leaves and in the case that water does start to puddle and increase in height, it can drain due to the top surface of the grill being elevated and free of leaves.
